Canary Wharf London - Shops & View

Opening times:
The shopping center is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 till 20:00 o'clock, on Saturday from 10:00 till 19:00 o'clock and on Sunday from 12:00 till 18:00 o'clock.

Tip:
If you like it quiet, you should visit Canary Wharf on weekends. The surrounding offices are closed on weekends and therefore it is usually quite relaxed. Combine your shopping tour with a walk through the well maintained district to the River Thames with views of the London skyline.

Shopping Center:

The shopping center is located in a large underground area nearby the underground station. The different sections are connected by passageways. There are more than 120 shops with famous brands like: ASICS, Boggi Milano, Hackett, Zara, Levis, Polo Ralph Lauren, Boss, Mango...

Beautiful Squares and Streets:

You arrive directly a the Cabot Square if you leave the shopping center heading to the west. This popular place has a fountain in the center and offers many seat possibilities which is perfect to get used again on the daylight after the underground shopping tour.
If you walk along the West India Avenue you reach the roundabout Westferry Circus after approx. 300 m. A place with well cared English lawn surrounded by trees and bushes is located in the middle of the roundabout.

Thames Walk with View:

Just right after the Westferry Circus roundabout some steps are leading down to the Canary Riverside path. Here you can take a short walk along the River Thames and enjoy the view of the London City skyline. Due to the wide Thames river bed the narrowness of the city is quickly forgotten.

Skyscrapers in Canary Wharf:

On your way back from the River Thames you will very likely notice some skyscrapers. Currently there are 10 buildings with a height of over 100 m in Canary Wharf. Have a look at the top image of Cabot Square to see the 3 tallest buildings. The skyscraper in the middle of the image is named after its address One Canada Square. It is the 3rd tallest building in the United Kingdom with a height of 235 m. Only The Shard and 22 Bishopsgate skyscrapers in London are taller. (As of March 2024)
